Mission Trip Full Description:

The city of Colón presents a door of amazing opportunity and astounding contrasts. The largest free port in Central and South America, Colón hosts thousands of visitors throughout the year. Across the street from the international marketplace, however, an entire section of the city lies in darkness. Here, French American immigrants live in conditions that make slums elsewhere in the country seem luxurious. Windowless shacks built of unfinished boards provide scant shelter for lives without light-without hope.

An Awe Star team that ministered briefly here last summer discovered people who screamed agony, calling out to team members about their deep need for Jesus. What will it take to transform such a place? No less than the power of the Gospel of Christ. This trip will take you from the city to the jungle. Will you bear this light to the nations?
